The Endress + Hauser Group, based in Reinach BL in Switzerland, is a leading global provider of measuring devices, services and solutions for industrial process engineering.
In June 2022, Endress + Hauser Digital Solutions GmbH and its Product Center moved into the new location in the Freiburg Innovation Center (FRIZ). A spatial concept was planned for the Product Center that responds to the flexibility and working methods of the teams. Namely by working together in interdisciplinary teams that continually reorganize and reassemble themselves and work on innovative topics. Following this approach, an open spatial concept was planned in which people can see each other, meet each other and cross paths.
The flomo wall was used as a sliding wall to zone the rooms. Seven ceiling and floor guided sliding elements structure the overall area, are filled with PET acoustic felt on both sides at the top and bottom and are equipped with flomo boards in the middle. The flomo walls and flomo boards offer, on the one hand, opportunities to retreat and, on the other hand, places to come together for brainstorming sessions.
The idea of looking at projects from different perspectives, exchanging ideas and understanding other perspectives is reflected in the flexible spatial structures.
