Futuromundo 2025

Inspiration, innovation and creativity

On July 3 and 4, 2025, Stuttgart became a hotspot for shaping the future: The FUTUROMUNDO Multi-Conference & Festival brought together experts and enthusiasts from the fields of education, technology, science, business, and society. Right at the heart of it all: our agile furniture series flomo and Xbrick®, which not only furnished the Arnulf Betzold GmbH exhibition stand but were also featured in the central Maker Space area.

A particular highlight was the colorful and eye-catching FUTUROMUNDO logo built from Xbrick® – an impressive 2.5 meters high and 3.8 meters wide – which greeted visitors at the entrance.

FUTUROMUNDO was all about questions about the future: How do we want to learn, work, and live? Around 200 international speakers shared their visions at more than ten locations around Stuttgart's Liederhalle. Teachers, students, artists, entrepreneurs, and representatives from politics and administration came together to rethink education, business, and society – in a practical, creative, and interdisciplinary way. Visitors to the Maker Space Area were able to get active and create bracelets, key rings, coasters, etc. using their own ideas, using plotters, laser cutters, 3D printers, or wood.

In the workshop “Moving Learning Spaces, Understanding Space", Helen from wd3 GmbH shared hands-on ideas: from seated circles where participants drum or balance on Xbrick®, to number towers and life-sized spatial visualizations – all the way to a rocket built from Xbrick® that launches toward Mars using the AR app Xplore. Plenty of inspiring ways to make learning come alive through movement, tactile experiences, and hands-on exploration.

A festival full of inspiration
FUTUROMUNDO 2025 demonstrated how powerful the exchange between education, technology, and creativity can be. We are delighted to have been part of this inspiring future dialogue with our agile furniture. We are excited to see which ideas and collaborations will continue to grow from these two days.
