Modern working environments put to the test
The SynergySpace of the Fraunhofer Institute for Building Physics IBP in Stuttgart is currently researching how future-oriented office environments can specifically promote collaboration, concentration, and well-being – for greater focus, flexibility, and health in the workplace. The space is divided into four flexible zones, ranging from a focus workstation to a relaxation area, thus providing optimal conditions for practical tests and acoustic measurements under realistic conditions.
Right in the middle: Our height-adjustable motu project table combined with Xbrick® as part of the furniture concept. The modular design allows for flexible adjustment of the work environment and individual seating arrangement at any time, for greater ergonomics, comfort, and productivity in the workplace.
The aim of the multimodal research approach is clearly formulated:
“To objectively measure acoustic and visual privacy and integrate it into office planning so that future work environments remain resource-efficient and health-promoting in the long term” (Fraunhofer Institute IBP)
