Xbrick® in MakerSpace

Xbrick® im MakerSpace

The MakerSpace Mayen-Koblenz is a non-profit company (gGmbH) that sees itself as an appreciative, future-oriented learning space. These open workshops foster a creative working atmosphere that invites exchange and interaction. Additionally, they promote equal opportunities, especially for people who would not normally have access to such resources. Materials, tools, technology, and expertise are freely available there.

The right equipment plays a crucial role in creative processes. For this reason, we are very pleased about the ongoing collaboration and that our agile furniture from westermann products is used here daily, making a valuable contribution to collaborative creation and design.

The Xbrick® and flomo furniture series provide the MakerSpace with maximum flexibility and versatility. With the X-bench, the X-table, and Xbrick® as table legs, customized work and workshop spaces can be flexibly assembled. The simple setup allows rooms to be quickly adapted, making them suitable for all age groups and easy to transport.

Therefore, the flexible furniture is also used at trade fair appearances, for example, as a parcours or racetrack for robots, which always excite visitors to the MakerSpace.

A standout feature of the MakerSpace Mayen-Koblenz is the integration of four different segments, each addressing various target groups: playful learning, schools and daycare centers, the local community and economy, as well as businesses and public institutions. We are proud to support and design the furnishing of the MakerSpace premises and workshop spaces as a partner.
